Container yard bridges and container trucks are responsible for vertical operations and horizontal transportation in the yard, respectively, and are important components of container terminal loading and unloading processes. During the operation of the gantry crane, when the lifting equipment is used to lift containers from or place them on the container truck, the truck driver needs to move the truck back and forth repeatedly based on personal visual inspection to complete the alignment between the truck and the lifting equipment. The efficiency of the alignment process is low, and the driver's operation is cumbersome and prone to fatigue. At the same time, it is difficult to completely avoid collisions between lifting equipment, containers, and trucks, which may cause equipment damage and bring many safety hazards.

Due to the large size of port loading and unloading equipment, as well as the numerous lighting areas and fixtures, a scientifically reasonable control system is required for control. At present, there are usually two control methods used. One is to connect each group of lighting fixtures directly to the corresponding lighting circuit breaker through electrical wiring to control the lighting; Another method is to install a PLC controlled contactor between the lighting fixtures and circuit breakers, which can be turned on or off by pressing a button and controlling the contactor through the PLC. However, both methods have limitations and cannot achieve comprehensive multi-point control.
